Irene Marryat Parlby - first female Cabinet minister in Alberta
Nellie Mooney McClung - suffragist and member of the Alberta legislature
Louise Crummy McKinney - first woman elected to any legislature in Canada or the British Empire
Henrietta Muir Edwards - founding member of Victoria Order of Nurses
