What are the different styles of motorcycles?

I have been involved in the motorcycle industry for over 10 years. I have sold Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Harley Davidson, Ducati, KTM, and Aprilia. I have also worked in motorcycle service, race-prep, and been a memeber of Dunlop's AMA National Tire Fitting team. The different "styles" of motorcycles can be broken down into the following categories: 1)Cruiser 2)Sportbike 3)Touring 4)Sport-Touring 5)Enduro or On/Off Road 6)Dirtbike 7)Scooter. A few manufacturers make all of the above "styles", while some manufacturers specialize in only one or two types. Hopefully that at least gives you an idea.
