How to restart 'pages' on your iPad without deleting the app?

To restart any app on the ipad- Press the home button to go to the home screen. Swipe four finger up - icons will display at the bottom of the screen for current running apps. Hold finger on any of the icons until they start to shake. Press the - in the corner of the icon to stop the app. Press the home button again.
