How many medical cyclotrons exist in the US?

As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, there are approximately 30 to 40 medical cyclotrons operating in the United States. These cyclotrons are primarily used to produce radioisotopes for medical imaging and cancer treatment. The number can vary due to new installations or decommissioning of older machines.
