How do i tell a guy that he has to ask my dad for permission to date me?

i believe it all depends on the age group... if your in a younger group anything under 18 then yes.... but if you are of age i say no.... but it would show a sign of respect if the guy talks to the father eventually in the relationship.. the only time i really think you should now ask anything from a father is the girl's hand in marriage... and that's rare now days.no he should jusst ask the girl,he doesn't have to spill himself out to te father.
