A scientic law is universal and it formed after various tried and tested experiments .We also know its limtations and conditions .it cannot be changed .Example , Mendels law , newtons law of gravitation etc

whereas theory generalise the constant results of experiments , theories can be improved and changed .example Darwin's theory of evolution

On the other hand ,law cant be changed.
