Is being a legal assistant hard?

Being a legal assistant can be hard. The biggest issues that I have encountered is the amount of responsibility that is placed on you, and lack of knowledge about certain topics can set you back if you aren't familiar with something that needs to be completed quickly. It also depends on the lawyer you are paired with. I have a fantastic lawyer, and we get along very well, but I have worked for another who made my anxiety very severe as he expected far too much out of me (with my experience level at the time.)
