What eats an Atlantic needlefish?

Atlantic needlefish are preyed upon by larger marine predators such as sharks, barracuda, and larger species of fish. Birds, particularly seabirds, may also target needlefish when they are near the surface. Additionally, juvenile needlefish are vulnerable to various smaller predatory fish.
