What homeless charitys are there in London?

Several, but the most prominent are Shelter and also Crisis. Shelter tends to focus upon people who have some sort of accomodation but no PERMANENT homes of their own, whereas Crisis tends to focus upon those who are actually destitute and living rough on the streets.

There is also a multi-denominational religious organisation called Church Action Against Poverty, which was founded in 1982 and aims to co-ordinate churches and religious organisations of all faiths in helping to allieviate homelessness.

Other charities include The Salvation Army, the British Legion (which helps ex-servicemen who are destitute) and a number of other smaller charity groups.
