Do you need both radiator fans on a 2000 Mazda Mpv to operate the vehicle?

all the fans do is help cool the engine down. and the person who desiged the cooling system put two fans there for a reason. but also, sometimes they tend to over do it.

depends on what you wanna do? are you trying to put just one fan there? that's fine as long as the CFM's (cubic feet per minute) are the same.

you can disconnect one fan, drive it, and watch the water temp and see if it varies from when you drive it with both fans.
