The two primary movable parts on an airplane are the ailerons and the elevators. Ailerons, located on the trailing edges of the wings, control the roll of the aircraft by adjusting the lift on each wing. Elevators, found on the tail section, control the pitch, allowing the aircraft to ascend or descend. Together, these controls enable pilots to maneuver the plane effectively during flight.
