Why did Malcolm X become a Sunni Muslim?

the Nation of Islam was racist. The Nation of Islam thought that white people were the devil. When Malcolm X went to Mecca (pilgrimage), he realized that white, black, everyone could be muslims. After Mecca, Malcolm realized that the Nation of Islam was wrong: they were not true muslims. So he became a Sunni Muslim.
