First line : 5 syllables

Second line : 7 syllables

Third Line : 5 syllables

A spring haiku would be a Haiku about/with a spring term in it.

Example:

開いたる scent of the opened letter

文のかほるや　 plum blossoms　　　(Spring time has Plum Blossoms in Japan)
