Applying the term 'serf' to an Aztec is not correct;

Aztecs were Indians who would have had a system

unlike serfdom, wherein one performed different tasks

at different stages of life, and pursued interests to a certain extent,

sharing more freely in community largesse than a serf might,

and so performing more community-oriented tasks

than them, also.
