What are some easy crafts for a preteen girl to do?

I think that preteens would want to make somthing colorful and useful.I think that you shoud get a pin board and paint it the preteen's favorite color.Let it dry then get paint stamps and stamp it.let it dry and put it in the preten's room room.Now she has a place to put her homework,pictures,and cards,and stuff she don't want to lose it will be a part of her room.I like making potholders,jewery.
