Will washing your hair with tide detergent help pass a hair test?

I have a friend who went thru a nasty divorce and she regularly smoked marijuana (I suspect that she had been using meth also). She was ordered to take a hair folicle test. I remember that she had to color her hair(the same color it already was not to look suspicious) in order to break the hair folicles outer layer then she washed her hair repeatedly with dish detergent, like 20 times she said. She passed her test.
