Did ghengis khan really rule India?

Genghis Khan did not directly rule India. His Mongol Empire primarily expanded across Central Asia and parts of China during his lifetime in the early 13th century. However, his descendants, particularly through the invasions led by his grandson Hulagu Khan and later Timur, did impact northern India. Yet, these influences were more about raids and lesser control rather than direct governance.
