Why is there a bump on my ear after i got my cartilage pierced?

I think you're referring to hypertrophic scarring. Its just a type of scar tissue. it doesn't happen every time you pierce cartilage, but it's pretty common with cartilage piercings. Its pretty easy to treat though.
