Here are some tips to keep your iPod charge lasting longer.

- overcharging kills the battery. Charge it only when you need to.

- make sure apps are closed. If you want to make sure they are completely closed turn off your itouch, turn it back on bit leave it in sleep mode.

- lock your itouch. Aka, put it to sleep. It saves a lot of battery.

- if you select a playlist and sleep your itouch then you will lose just about 1-2% battery life per hour. Don't change or interact with your itouch. It will use more battery that way.

- simply give your battery a break. Sleep it or run it off for an hour or so a day without using it. It will cool down the battery and save juice.

- let it cool off. The battery needs a break. Like a computer the battery can overheat and lose battery fast it die.

- don't use a cover that suffocates your device. Let it breathe. Take off the cover if your using safari or a game. The battery will heat up and suck battery if it cannot breathe through the case.

- turn your itouch to airplane mode. It will turn off most battery sucking apps and processes.

- once every two weeks or month charge your itouch all the way to 100%. Then run music or a game or both until the battery empties and the itouch goes to sleep. Once it does let it breathe and leave it for an hour or three. Then charge it all the way to 100% but do not use it while it is charging from 0-100%. This will reset the battery and will make the battery last longer during uses as well as it's life as a battery. This is probably the best tip in saving and conserving battery life.

I hope these tips help.
