Why is piggy so obsessed about finding the others and calling a meeting in lord of the flies?

In Lord of the Flies, Piggy fears Jack because Jack intimidates him and he is violent.

Actually, Piggy fears Jack because he feels inferior to Jack since Jack is skinny and muscular and Piggy is fat, wears glasses, and has Asthma.
