What political outlook did the directory have?

The political outlook the Directory represented was one of a Democracy. It replaced the Committee of Public Safety and it is included in a more moderate version of France's constitution. It makes suffrage available to anyone with property. The five-man executive board consists of five men who can't be on the board for two years in a row, and it causes the Revolution to become less violent.
