What is the Distance from Colorado Springs Colorado to Grand Canyon?

Via the shortest and fastest route is is 628 miles. Very few drive google's chosen route and opt for the all Interstate (I-25 over Raton Pass, over Glorietta Pass to Santa Fe and into Albuquerque) and west to Flagstaff on I-40 with an overinght stop at some favored hotel or at least very close to a restaurant where they can get their Chili Fix or some First Class Southwestern food. This is especially true in the winter when all driving is at risk of road closures, blinding windswept blizzards and snowplow operators who have been on duty for 20 or more hours.

The added 150 miles of driving is of little consequence when a fairly long drive under any condition can become a joyful experience.
