All water is naturally recycled and purified through the water cycle.

Cities that do not receive enough rainfall purify their waste water to use it again instead of letting it go into waterways. There are different levels of purification, so some water is cleaned enough to be used for gardens and flushing toilets, other water is purified enough to drink. This is a good thing to do.
