Can eutrophication combat acidification

Eutrophication and acidification are typically opposing processes in aquatic ecosystems. Eutrophication, driven by nutrient enrichment, can lead to increased plant growth, which may temporarily absorb some carbon dioxide and increase pH levels, potentially mitigating acidification effects.
