What is raw vote and where does it come from?

Raw vote refers to the total number of votes cast in an election before any processing, analysis, or adjustment. It comes directly from the ballot counts at polling places, where voters submit their choices during an election. This figure includes all votes, regardless of whether they are valid, invalid, or counted towards official results. Raw vote data is essential for understanding voter turnout and the overall electoral landscape.
