Can you get the ambassador twice in tf2?

In Team Fortress 2, you can only pick up the Ambassador once per life. If you die, you can respawn and pick up the Ambassador again, but during a single life, you cannot acquire it multiple times. The Ambassador is a unique weapon for the Spy class, and once it's picked up, it remains in your inventory until you either die or switch weapons.
