For drug tests in probation for those without alcohol restrictions or a high history of drug abuse there are five classes of drugs tested for called the NIDA 5. These include

  1. Cannabinoids (marijuana, hash)
  2. Cocaine (cocaine, crack, benzoylecognine)
  3. Amphetamines (amphetamines, methamphetamines, speed)
  4. Opiates (heroin, opium, codeine, morphine)
  5. Phencyclidine (PCP)

There are also tests for alcohol up to 6 days, as well as tests for LSD, Tryptamines, Benzodiazapines, basically if you put it in your body it can be tested for. I am currently on probation and they randomly test for all substances.

Testing for LSD is difficult and expensive, and the detection window is very short so it's not a common test. The military only does it on probable cause--they ran two million LSD tests over a three-year period and got four positives.
