How many step are there from the base to the summit of the Eiffel tower?

there are between 1665 steps to 1710 steps all the way to the top depending on which side you try.....

the problem is that you can only climb by stairs up to the second floor....from thesecond floor to the top, its forbidden to use the stairs and you have to take the lift (for safety reasons)
