There may be aliens but it will take more than anecdotes and the assumption that every blob in the sky is a craft to prove it. There may even simply be natural phenomena we don't know about yet, confusing us. It'll take kick-the-tires evidence to prove it,so the buffs always say there is some but the Government stole it, or the dog ate it, or something like that. The US Government covers 6% of the Earth, why don't aliens ever crash elsewhere?

A number of NASA rocket jocks say they've experienced UFOs first hand, as have a number of military jet jockeys. Just looking at those and setting aside all the rest of the sightings, why would these military flight officers and astronauts lie to us about what they saw? There seem to be too many credible stories from fly boys with nothing to gain -- and everything to loose! -- by being wrong, being ridiculed and made to look foolish. And the latter two seemed to come regardless of anything else.
The jury is still out, and while they deliberate, we'll go about our business. Oh, and a few of us will, from time to time, join the ranks of those who have seen something unusual. Something with an odd shape that differentiates it from current airplanes. Or perhaps something exhibiting flight characteristics so unusual that no known aircraft could perform the maneuvers. As Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over 'til it's over." And it ain't over. There's one more thing. The truth is out there. And you know where that quote comes from.

Well they have found life on mars. The universe is so big why should we be the only ones living in it? Aliens, in my opion, probably do exist. nobody really knows.
Actually, no they *haven't* found life on Mars or anywhere else. What they found was a meteor with specks of mineral shaped like microorganisms, which were never proven to be anything more than just that. They are considered to be too small to have contained the complex chemistry of life.
I know aliens look statistically likely, but it is a little early to believe in them yet. Someone has to be the first life in the Universe, and there is no reason to think it isn't us. No matter who was first, they would still look up at the Universe and say, "It's so big, there must be other life". And they would be wrong.
