How is cotton utilized?

Crushing to make edibles and planting to grow ornamental perennials or practical annuals are ways in which cotton seeds can be used. The plant in question (Gossypium spp) may finds its seeds crushed to make animal feed and cottonseed oil or planted to produce indoor/outdoor ornamentals or textile-producing practicals.
