How many grams are in a nip?

A nip is a third of a pint of beer. It is also a small amount of liquor, and I thought it was one half fluid ounce, or 15ml, but I can find no confirmation of that. Anyone else???

It's used in the same way that a "pinch" is used for dry ingredients. It is a small amount of liquor.
