What is the best resolution for laptops?

That's dependent upon what laptop model you have. For instance, I have a Sony Vaio PCG-GRT390ZP that runs natively at 1600x1200. My friend's laptop, however, runs at 1280x800. You should be able to find your laptop's native resolution on google or on the manufacturer's website.
