Why didnt sting ever wrestle in the WWE?

sting did come to the WWE early in his career but he made a desision to make a move to TNA

Sting has never wrestled a match for WWE/WWF in his life. His contract with TNA expires in Jan 2014, after which he'll be free to sign with WWE if he chooses
