What is the main difference between speech and written communication?

Speech is based pronouncing sounds with ones mouth which is natural for humans. Writing, which is unnatural is based on hand activity that inscribe symbols which is recognized by those

of the same reading group who understand these symbols. Animals make sounds such as whales but they can not write something that other animals would recognize.
