Who else are involved in the curriculum planning aside from teachers?

The curriculum is determined largely by the state and the Local Education Agency - usually the county. Teachers do get to interpret the curriculum and teach it using various strategies and techniques. Some teachers are included in developing the curriculum at the state and county level but those agencies have the final authority on what it will include and look like.
