What do inmates get when released?

Upon release, inmates may receive a variety of support services including transitional housing, job training programs, mental health services, and access to employment resources. Some may also receive assistance in reintegrating back into society through community-based organizations or parole officers. Additionally, inmates may be provided with reentry plans to help them successfully navigate life outside of prison.
