Where in Africa did Haitian come from?

The haitians are not African, they are islanders in the Carribbean sea. Their island is shared with the Dominican Republic. If you are asking as where did they come from many years ago, most of the Haitian population were imported as slaves that came from West Africa. No specific country to the best of my knowledge.
