Does every Girl Scout have to wear a uniform?

Girl Scouts are not required to wear a uniform unless they are representing the organization in an official capacity, such as part of a Color Guard for a flag ceremony.

To show membership in the organization, girls may wear a uniform or they may choose to wear their GSUSA membership pin and the WAGGGS pin on clothing on the left side - "over the heart".
