What do silk worms feed on AND how big do they become?

Silkworms primarily feed on the leaves of the mulberry tree. As they grow, they undergo several molts and can reach a size of about 2.5 to 3 inches (6 to 8 centimeters) in length before spinning their cocoons. This growth process typically takes around 25 to 30 days.
