Christians view The Bible as the inspired Word of God, absolute truth, beneficial for teaching and disciplining mankind. Read John 17:17; 2Timothy 3: 16; 2Peter 1: 21. More is required of true Christians than a mere confession of faith. It is necessary that belief be demonstrated by works. Read Roman 10: 10; James 2: 17,26.

1Timothy 2: 4,5 reads " Whose will ( God's will ) is tnat all sorts of people should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus. "

John 17: 3 reads. " This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

So the message is quite clear. It is knowledge and works that put into action Jesus' teaching.
