There are a whole lot of things to make that first good impression:
* Bathe, brush your hair, brush your teeth * Dress in neat clean clothing appropriate to the position you are after. This includes cleaning your shoes. No message t-shirts. * If you can, cover those tats and lose the "shock value" piercings
* Don't be eating, Chewing Gum, smoking, or sing a toothpick
* Have good posture, step lively, don't slouch * Don't scratch, pick, spit * Speak clearly without slang or cuss Words
* Have your resume and contact info handy. Typed out if possible.
* Know something about the job you are applying for
* If you have an appointment show up on time or awee bit early * Say "Thank You" after getting the application or "Hope the next time I come here it'll be as an employee" at the end of the interview
