What is a drugstore cowgirl?

A drugstore cowboy is a person who poses as a cowboy. One who dresses in fancy cleaned and pressed cowboy clothes, typical dude dress, but does not intend to be or do the work of a cowboy. He dresses just for show.

I assume a drugstore cowgirl would be a female version of the same sort of thing.
