What does the medical abbreviation 1 po bid mean?

P.O. B.I.D. means by mouth two times a day, and refers to taking medication.
po or P.O. Means per os or BY Mouth and BID means twice daily..... I forget the Latin for that on.
po bid means take by mouth twice daily
