On September 11, 2001, there were a total of 19 hijackers involved in the attacks on the four flights. These hijackers were divided among the flights as follows: five on American Airlines Flight 11, five on United Airlines Flight 175, and four each on American Airlines Flight 77 and United Airlines Flight 93.
