Hard wood floor is too expensive, but I've been wondering about laminate flooring. Is this a good option?

Laminate flooring doesn't look quite as good as hardwood flooring, but it is less expensive and more durable. It resists stains and fading. It doesn't get nicked or scratched as easily as hardwood.
