How do you deal with a stranger who keeps talking to you?

* A short conversation in a crowded area with a stranger is fine, but it's never a good idea to keep chatting with that person when it's especially a man. You can cut the conversation off by telling them you are meeting your boyfriend in 5 - 10 minutes and have to go. If they continue talking to you just be pleasant and say 'I really have to go ... nice meeting you.' Even if you have to go into a store and ask a clerk for help or if outside on the street hop on a bus or hail a cab do so if you feel this person is too persistent. If you have a cell phone make up an excuse you have to phone your boyfriend or, a friend and fake the call and then gradually walk away from the stranger.
