Is a hedgehog a good pet for a 13 year old?

Yes, I believe so they are wonderful,loving,and kind animals. But I think that they should just not be given the hedgehog they need to do lots and lots of research and maybe give a quiz to see how much they know also they the hedgehog should be a modivation they should keep their room clean,clean dishes,etc for about like 2 months or so and they should be VERY VERY RESPONSIBLE having a pet of your own to take care of is a big responsiblity.
