Where did they film the video to summer nights by rascal flatts?

The video for "Summer Nights" was filmed on the California coast at the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area, also known as Pismo Beach. The ODSVRA is the last beach in California that is open to vehicles. It has been the subject of a long-standing battle between the Sierra Club, who would like to see the beach closed, and the Friends of Oceano Dunes, who believe that the ODSVRA should stay open to the public for all activities.
