What's it like working for American Cruise Lines aboard their ships?

I had nothing but a negative experience working for this company. They pull you in with the offer of at least $700 a week plus the opportunity for more in tips. You work 14+ hours a day, seven days a week. Crew meals are thrown together in a sloppy mess, completely lacking in flavor. The management lets you know you can leave at any time. You are treated in such a terrible, unprofessional manner. If you love getting yelled at for asking a question, and them bringing you to tears then this is the job for you. And don't forget about the blisters you will have. P.S. If you have shoes with even a speck of color that will stop blisters, you can't wear them, too much against the dress code policy.
