It's impossible to say without more knowledge of your situation.

Assuming that you made exactly $32,000 in 2014, it all came from wages or salary, you were single, had no dependents, could not yourself be claimed as a dependent by someone else, and took the standard deduction rather than itemizing deductions, you would have had a taxable income of $21,850 and would have owed $2,828 in Federal income taxes. You would probably also have owed state income tax, but tax laws in each state are different, and I don't propose to figure it out for all fifty of them for you ... if you really want to know, every state I know of that has an income tax has forms and instructions online, and you can figure it out yourself.
